CareNet Baby Shower
The Children's Ministry will be hosting an all church baby shower on Sunday, 4/13/08 immediately following the Connection Service, for all the women of the church (from the youngest to the oldest). The baby shower is to help CareNet, a crisis pregnancy center.
CareNet offers a store with all new items to clients. They earn credits by taking classes and use their credits to purchase items from the store. They offer gently used clothes, blankets, etc. to clients for free and also give away used strollers, bouncers, bassinets, baby gates, any other large baby item . CareNet also accepts used cribs (NO used mattresses) and those are sold for credits in the store, too.
Handmade blankets are a special blessing. They give away handmade blankets to clients, and they really love to have those. It makes them feel very special and loved, to know that someone they don't know makes that just for them.
- DIAPERS- especially size 4/5/6. (but of course we can always use any size)
- Pacifiers
- Any clothes/outfits
- Baby lotion
- Baby oil
- Baby powder
- Baby wash
- Blankets
- Towels/washcloths
- Socks
- Diaper bags
